Trading weekly options is not for everyone. Before the weeklies came along many options educators and option traders felt it best to avoid expiration week because of the risks associated with the final days before an option expires. With those risks come some benefits – very rapid time decay and pronounced gamma – but you must fully understand how these options work and what is required to effectively manage them.
I hope this presentation helps you along that path of understanding.
